Mr Koh is a lawyer and Managing Partner of Allen & Gledhill LLP.
Mr Koh has been practising as a corporate lawyer since 1993. His main areas of practice include Capital Markets, M&A and Investment Funds; and he has advised on numerous international and domestic transactions.
Mr Koh heads the Firm’s REITs Practice and is the leading authority on REITs and business trusts. He has been involved in the listing of almost all the REITs and business trusts in the Singapore market and has further advised on a number of listings in Malaysia. Mr Koh also regularly advises on M&A and private equity transactions, establishment of private funds, complex securitisation and structured finance transactions, and corporate governance.
Mr Koh is cited as a leading practitioner in Chambers Global, Chambers Asia-Pacific, IFLR1000, The Legal 500 Asia Pacific; and he has been recognised as a thought leader by Who’s Who Legal.
Mr Koh was the former Co-Chair of the Securities Law Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) and is now a member of its Advisory Board. He is the current Asia Pacific Regional Forum Liaison Officer of the IBA Law Firm Management Committee. Mr Koh is a fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators and Secretary of REIT Association of Singapore. Mr Koh also currently serves as a director of the Singapore Land Authority.
Mr Koh graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Master of Laws from the National University of Singapore, and has been admitted to practise law in Singapore, Hong Kong as well as England and Wales. He also holds a Master of Arts from Bob Jones University.
Mr Koh is active in community work and is passionate about helping the poor and needy.
