NKF has 8 committees appointed by the Board to assist the Board in covering key areas of management and improve our oversight of management and accountability to stakeholders. All committees have written terms of reference, which are approved by the Board, outlining specific responsibilities and expectations of the committees. Committee members have different talents, skills and knowledge and as a committee, are able to inform, educate and make careful, valuable recommendations to the Board on particular areas of concern. Minutes of committee meetings are provided to the Board. Committee members are volunteers and are not remunerated.
