This dialysis centre is made possible with a generous donation from Mr Ngiam Kia Hum and his family, contributions from other donors and a government grant, to benefit kidney patients living in the north-eastern region of Singapore. It is NKF’s first dialysis centre that is co-located within a polyclinic and retail space. With such a set up, it allows our patients to have greater access to other medical facilities at subsidised rate and gives us the opportunity to embed ourselves in the community thus bringing us closer to our goal of becoming a Community Care Integrator. This centre has 35 dialysis stations and will be able to benefit 210 kidney patients.
