Dialysis is essential for sustaining life
Every 5 hours, there is 1 new patient diagnosed with kidney failure. These patients require dialysis to sustain their lives unless they receive a kidney transplant.
We are currently serving over 4,000 kidney patients, about two-thirds of the over 6,000 patients in Singapore. With quality treatment, patients’ average stay with us is between 10 to 12 years with many of them going beyond 20 – 30 years.
Our patients are of the lower-income group. As such, their dialysis treatments are heavily subsidised with 47% of patients paying $0 a month and in total, about 60% pay $50 or less a month.
With your kind donation, the needy kidney patients have a chance to live. All proceeds from the donation draw will go directly to patient care.
