World Kidney Day (WKD) is a global awareness campaign aimed at raising awareness on the importance of our kidneys. In conjunction with WKD, the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), Singapore Society of Nephrology (SSN) – Nursing Chapter and Singapore Nurses Association (SNA) – Renal Nursing Chapter (RNC) jointly organise the WKD Nursing Symposium annually.
The theme for WKD 2018 is “Kidneys and Women’s Health: Include, Value, Empower”. In line with this year’s theme, the symposium will cover topics on kidney disease in relation to women’s health.
