NKF’s Nurse Managers Ms Cynthia Wong, Mr Maglaque Rey Mark and Ms Tan Bee Lei received the Ministry of Health (MOH) Nurses’ Merit Award 2024, in recognition of their steadfast dedication and exceptional performance, significantly impacting the healthcare industry.

Singapore Health Quality Service Awards 2024
NKF’s Assistant Head of Dietetics, Yee Chooi Fong, received the Superstar Award. Recognised for her exceptional performance and unwavering dedication to patients and the healthcare industry, Chooi Fong’s compassionate and attentive approach to patient care through nutrition has left an indelible mark on those she serves.
In recognition of our steadfast dedication in providing quality, holistic renal care to our patients, NKF also received 54 Silver, 17 Gold and 7 Star Awards.
We remain committed to enhancing delivery of life-saving dialysis care while propelling towards greater heights in treating, managing and preventing chronic kidney disease.

ACHS International Accreditation
NKF achieved accreditation for upholding rigorous standards in renal care services from the esteemed Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) International in 2024. Awarded the ACHS International Accreditation Certificate, NKF has successfully met the EQuIP7 Core and Ambulatory Standards.
Emphasising patient-focused care, effective leadership, continuous improvement, evidence of enhanced outcomes, and excellence in process efficiencies for patient satisfaction, EQuIP7 is a framework based on five principles that support best practice, facilitate a culture of quality, and guide improvements to care and outcomes. This accreditation serves as a reaffirmation of our unwavering commitment to delivering safe and high-quality care to our dialysis patients.

Charity Transparency Award 2023
NKF was the recipient of the Charity Transparency Award 2023 from the Charity Council. The award recognises charities that have good disclosure practices. NKF remains deeply committed to upholding accountability and transparency, fostering public trust in its initiatives. We will continue to pursue and uphold the highest standards of patient care, while focusing on upstream efforts to stem the rising tide of kidney failure cases.

Healthcare Humanity Awards 2023
NKF’s Deputy Nurse Educator Maynard Urmatan received the Ministry of Health’s Healthcare Humanity Award 2023, for demonstrating unwavering dedication in providing safe and uninterrupted dialysis treatments to COVID-19 positive patients and ensuring close collaboration with other institutions, as well as educating and reassuring patients and their families in these difficult times.

President’s Award for Nurses 2023
NKF’s Deputy Director of Nursing Services, Ms Pauline Tan, received the President’s Award for Nurses 2023. This national award is the highest accolade in the nursing profession, given in recognition of nurses who have made significant contributions and displayed outstanding competency, leadership, and innovation. Pauline is an exemplary leader and a strong advocate for person-centred care and nursing leadership, while being a nurturing, empathetic and humble colleague to all whom she works with.
