LifeDrops
LifeDrops is our major source of donation where donors give conveniently through automatic monthly deductions. This way of giving enables us to keep fundraising expenses low and the savings can be channelled to help even more needy patients.
Q. How do I donate to LifeDrops?
You can contribute through GIRO or credit card. However, we prefer donations through GIRO, as it helps us to cut down on administrative costs.
Q. When is the activation date for LifeDrops?
It will take approximately a month for the bank to facilitate your donations. We will send you an acknowledgement letter to notify you of your first deduction.
Q. What are the tax benefits?
You will be entitled to a tax deduction of 2.5 times the amount of donations, which means that for every $1 you give, $2.50 will be deducted from your taxable income. Please note that if you prefer your donations to be automatically included in your tax assessment, you need to provide your NRIC/FIN number.
What happens if there are insufficient funds in my account?
You can reach us at 1800-KIDNEYS (5436397) or at lifedrops@nkfs.org to make a special arrangement for the deduction date. You can also call this number for any other questions that you may have.
